If you need medical care during office hours
(weekdays between 08:00 and 17:00), but you don't know a doctor in the area?
Find a doctor in your neighbourhood (type in the name of the town/city)
If you want to be seen by a doctor, you can call the doctor’s office and make an appointment. If necessary, the doctor can refer you to a hospital.
If you need urgent medical care outside regular office hours
(during the evening, night, weekend and Dutch public holidays):
Always first call the GP post: 0115 643 000
For emergencies, call: 112
Nucleus Huisartsenposten (a ‘GP centre’ for after-hours general practitioner services) is not an ordinary general practice. We offer urgent medical care for residents and tourists in the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen region during the evening, night, weekend and Dutch public holidays. You should always call first for an appointment. If you come without an appointment, you may have to wait longer before you are helped by a GP.
